The primary focus of this project was to model fine detailed filigree onto the surface of a small weapon. 

 

I chose to model this piece as a fully animating piece that can be taken apart to each smaller component. This presented the challenge of fitting each piece snugly together, but with precise measuring, each piece fell into place.
